An inspection of the building is likely required to ascertain the types of materials used in the external wall system, our Surveyor will liaise with Building Owners/Managers in this regard.

Our Surveyor will work with Building Owners and Responsible Persons to prepare for investigations to be carried out as may be required to comfirm compliance
Our Surveyor is qualified to provide an EWS1 Form howeever on occassion we may need to liaise with a Fire Engineer to provide further details on a 'whole building' basis, we can arrange for this as necessary

Having started out his career in the Construction Industry as an Apprentice Bricklayer, Wayne has since worked on large International Projects including as part of teams for HSBC Bank Plc, National Car Parks Limited, along with Local Govt. and Private Partners.
External Wall Cladding (EWS) is an area of practice that demands attention to detail and a knowledge of building construction methods. Having worked in the Construction Industry, including building large office blocks and buildings with cladding systems, our Surveyor is well qualified to assist clients in inspection and surveys of buildings for the provision of an EWS1 form.
TYPES OF SYSTEM
There are a variety of different types of wall cladding systems in operation around the UK, along with buildings with attachments such as stacked timber balconies which may also require a particular building to have an EWS1 form before a valuation is provided for Mortgage purposes. Our Surveyor is a registered Valuer and also a Chartered Building Surveyor, as such can assist you with your enquiries as to EWS1 form completion for your Mortgage Lender.
